Pacific Northern, Inc. proudly sponsors the “Splendors of China’s Forbidden City” Exhibit.

Pacific Northern is proud to be one of the sponsors of the “Splendors of China’s Forbidden City: The Glorious Reign of Emperor Qianlong” collection in the Dallas Museum of Art – one of the most culturally significant exhibits ever to grace the United States. The exhibit will be presented in two selected cities – Chicago and Dallas – and will be on display for a six month period, unprecedented for an exhibit of such magnitude.

The 60-year reign of China’s 18-th century emperor Qianlong is the focal point of the exhibit that brought over 400 precious objects of art – many of which have never been seen outside of China – to be viewed by the American audiences. The collection of the emperor Qianlong, one of the most successful of the Qing dynasty rulers, encompasses over one million art objects. The selected pieces that were brought to the United States represent the royal life in the palace, as well as the emperor’s interest in technological, scientific and artistic developments of his time.

Pacific Northern, Inc. is pleased to support this important cultural event and be helpful in the efforts of increasing the awareness of the American public of the artistic and historical achievements of the Chinese culture.
