The August 13th, 2003 Annual Awards Banquet of the Greater Dallas Asian American Chamber of Commerce honored accomplishments by Asian American entrepreneurs, businesses and community leaders. Each year this organization recognizes individuals in multitude of categories, such as Education, Culture and Arts, and Community Services, among others.
The event received support from many outstanding companies, such as JC Penney, Frito-Lay Inc., Texas Health Resources, United Central Bank, and others. Pacific Northern is pleased to be among them and sponsor an affair of this size and importance dedicated to fostering the growth of talents in business and cultural spheres of Greater Dallas.
The event included a key-note speech by Vanessa Castagna, Chairman and CEO of JC Penney who, in her speech about the trends of cultural diversification in the marketplace, recognized Pacific Northern, Inc., as well as Prime Art & Jewel, as two of the best suppliers for the company. She remarked on the commitment of Pacific Northern and Prime Art & Jewel to quality, customer service and attention to detail. As a supporter of the Greater Dallas Asian American Chamber of Commerce, Pacific Northern is especially aware of the cultural aspects in the modern market place and strives to broaden its participation in various sectors of the business community.
